OBJECTION 5 = 'This university (or college or school) thing does not work for me. I've got to become an actor NOW'. ANSWER: IT IS YOUR CHOICE TO ATTEND. You could have gone to an acting school or tried - really tried - for it. You know that the only way into acting professionally is through PROFESSIONAL TRAINING and GETTING AN AGENT and MAKING CONTACTS and BUILDING UP AN ACTING CV. Any course only delivers on one of these - and then only acting experience within limited terms. But to have those experiences - that is marvellous and worth the huge investment you put in. A university or college course cannot change the world, but it does give you lots of opportunities.
