FX: BANG ON METAL TABLE

7 STEVEN: You're Lying!

8 OLIVIA: I'm Not! It's the truth.

LOCATIONS OFFICE

FX: MAIN OFFICE NOISES. COLIN JOGS UP TO JACK AS HE WALKS FROM OLIVIA'S OFFICE TO THE COPY ROOM

1 COLIN: Jack I think there's a way that I can trace calls to this phone.

2 JACK: How?

3 COLIN: Well remember back at university I hacked into the police phone tracking system

4 JACK: I thought you got caught for that

5 COLIN: No, no I didn't but..

FX: TYPING

6 FLICK: (ON INTERNET) Guys have you got the contract's of the Breakaway film - I'm going to see if I can find any leads off of that?

7 JACK: Yeah they're on my desk. Sorry carry on.

8 COLIN: I managed to get a logon that will get me to access their system for a limited time…

FX: STOP WALKING

9 JACK: Why can you only access for a limited time?

10 COLIN: Because it's a login that I created in their database that bypasses all security checks.

11 JACK: I….don't under..

12 COLIN: Such an account doesn't exist, every account has to have security clearance; As soon as we access this account it won't be long before we get detected using their resources.

13 JACK: But didn't you do all this when we were at University - surely the account be deleted by now anyway.

14 COLIN: There's a possibility -but I hid it in a complicated file system, and the account name is masked as a system file - it's unlikely it would have been wiped off.

15JACK: Ok - erm - get everything you need to set it up and run us through it.

OUTSIDE WAREHOUSE

FX: PHONE NUMBERS BEING PUNCHED INTO PHONE. PACING ON GRAVEL.

1 MAN ON PHONE: Hello Steven

2 STEVEN: Hello - are you at the destination yet?

3 MAN ON PHONE: I'm just pulling up now. When do you want me to go in

4 STEVEN: We'll let you know.

5 MAN ON PHONE: Do you have the hostage with you now?

6 STEVEN: Your only concern is to complete the task that we have given you. Make sure nobody is killed in this - we don't want to bring too much attention to ourselves.

7 MAN ON PHONE: You can trust me. I'll call you when I've finished.

FX: PHONE BEING CLOSED BY STEVEN

 

SCENE 4

LOCATIONS OFFICE

FX: SAME AS SCENE TWO. FLICK IS WALKING FROM THE COPY ROOM TO HER DESK

1 COLIN: Flick - do you have the USB uplink to your phone - it's the same type as the one the kidnappers left

FX: RUMAGING IN BAG

2 FELICITY: Yeah it should be about here somewhere - why do you need it?

3 COLIN: (working on computer) Because I need to extract the SIM number without taking the SIM out of the phone so I can triangulate it.

4 FELICITY: Why's that?

5 COLIN: Because If they ring when the SIM is out then they'll hurt Oli.

6 FELICITY: Oh. Right. Here it is.

FX: COLIN PUTTING LINK IN PHONE AND COMPUTER TYPING.

7 COLIN: (UNDER HIS BREATH) Come on, come on. Load up. Yes!. (PAUSE) Are you allright Flick - why are you still here?

8 FELICITY: Erm. Oh - no reason. Just wanted to see how you did it that's all - you're very clever.

9 COLIN: Thanks - but I think there are more useful things to do right now .

10 FELCITY: yes of course.

FX: MOBILE PHONE RINGS. MUSIC BED.

11 JACK: ( RUNNING FROM OLIVIA'S OFFICE) Is that the mobile?
FX: TYPING

12 COLIN: Yeah, yeah it is

13 JACK: pick it up then!

14 COLIN: Not yet - I need to confirmation that the system is triangulating this phone.

15 JACK: how long will it take?

16 COLIN: I've just put the sim card request in now - it shouldn't take long.

17 JACK: We don't have the time for "it shouldn't take long"

18 COLIN: (UNDER HIS BREATH) come on come on come on

FX: ENTRANCE FROM CORRIDOR (x2)

19 SYLVIA: Hello All! Is everyone alright?

 

20 JACK: Not now Sylv - we're in the middle of something important - look - I'm gonna pick up this phone!

21 COLIN: NOT YET! If we pick up now we loose the chance to locate their position - give me two more seconds…
