You can use a RADIO STATION in the soap storylines - very useful for music, for satirical fun and for THE STORY SO FAR, news reporting.

I always like getting some radio station or other into a soap – opportunity to satirise what goes on (in the best of all possible taste!) and to poke some light fun – especially at the ambitious reporter and / or music presenter.

Brighton Pier (in the UK) has its own radio station, and it is a hoot to see the broadcasting cubicle on the pier, with the broadcaster and his LPs!
