Comedy - soaps which are really situation comedies.
COMEDY - my preference. I prefer making soaps which are really situation comedies. This does not mean a lot of one-liners and trying to keep up an impossible standard of gags and quality scripting (which only a well-paid American TV stable of writers can achieve). Comedy comes from the characters in situations, and situation comedy from the repeated exchanges between the HEROES, with variations. You have more freedom with storylines on radio.
